Dr Heather Parker BA, MD, FRACGP, OAM

Dr Parker has qualifications in speech therapy, psychology and medical journalism. She has a fellowship of the RACGP and is a pilot, so her other interest is in aviation medicine. Dr Parker does pilot medicals for Australia, NZ, Canada, USA, UK, Singapore, South Africa and Moldova. Her MD was acquired in Canada, but she has lived and worked on the Sunshine Coast for the past 20 years and does some surgical assisting as well. Heather has had a lot of experience in caring for pregnant women and following up with their babies. In 2006 she was awarded an Order of Australia Medal for Services to Medicine and Aviation.
